People often make assumptions about sex workers. I remember my own from before I started working in this industry 9 years ago. They were mostly based on media images of desperate survival sex workers, not career sex workers. I’ve heard people generalise and say we are unreliable, have no morals, will do anything for money, are untrustworthy, tragic, drug fucked, socially impaired, sexually damaged or emotionally insecure, etc.

Thank you for your views, but I consider those traits as general characteristics of any suffering individuals and examples can be found in all professions. I invite you to examine your stereotypes because "in fact" we are all different. There are other more positive roles that sex workers play, they are less often spoken of or portrayed. Archetypal roles such as: worldly-wise good listeners, unjudgemental players, truly versatile great lovers, well informed safer sex educators, careful initiators of virgins, intuitive independent souls with compassion, sexual healers or an exotic hot spice for your relationship.
